There are many different methods network marketers use to build their business. Many build their business talking to their friends and family members or using their warm market. When you run out of people to talk to you might consider using the 3 foot rule and talk to everyone within three feet of you about your business, some networkers are very good at this but I personally do not like either of these methods. The company you decide to align yourself with may have techniques you may want to use but all methods are basically the same in network marketing.

Myspace is a great way to get Isagenix leads or work from home leads aslo know as myspace leads. When using myspace for leads you can talk to people about your products or opportunity. I personally like to talk to other networkers as they are already open to the idea of having a home based business. Do not buy leads or stop buying leads, my experience with buying leads and calling them has produced very poor results and of the many home business owners that I have spoken with on this subject have similar results that produce little to no results for their business. My google search for leads will reveal the high cost of purchasing leads and you still have to consider the time it takes to call the leads and the rejection you have to deal with.

Sizzle cards or business cards is not a very attractive way to build your home based business or work from home business. Most people who do the sizzle cards or flyers do so because they are determined to build their home based business and can't or don't know of other methods for building their home business or network marketing business.

Most sizzle cards will end up littered all over the place. many people have grown a business with sizzle cards buy is this how you really want to build a business. passing out flyers? I have done it before and did not like it at all but was determined to see some results with my home business. I have put out thousands upon thousands of sizzle cards or business card flyers in the past with a previous network marketing company I was trying to build a successful home business with . If you put out enough sizzle cards or business card flyers you will definitely get calls and convert some of these calls to sales and even distributors.

One of my distributors, someone that I personally signed up put out 5,000 flyers a day for three days and when he was done his phone was ringing quite a bit. One of the problems I encountered with him putting out so many sizzle cards was that he was not prepared to handle the calls. He was not trained in what to do exactly and got very frustrated and quit.

This was about 1997 and I could be off by a year or two but it seems that many people are still using the sizzle card technique today. I would definitely do things a little differently today if I knew then what I know now about business card flyers or sizzle cards.

To be effective with the sizzle cards you have to put out massive amounts of flyers and do it consistently to see great results. The cards that were effective for me was weight loss cards and work from home cards. If you are going to put out cards today be careful as many people do not appreciate you flyering their property and cars. If you put a flyer on a car, try and slide the business card or sizzle card on the drivers side and of the dore in between the window and the rubber at the bottom of the window. One time when David was passing out flyers he had his car sign on his door and when he got back to his car there were flyers all over his car (talk about embarrassing), sorry David but thinking about those flyers all over your car is making me laugh a bit as I write this.

One time I flyered an apartment complex and got a call from the angry manager or owner (can't remember who it was) about the flyers and it was about 1 month later, maybe even longer. Wow, this guy had some serious time perception problems. I couldn't believe how irate and angry he was about the flyers and how so much time had passed since I flyered that apartment complex.

Sizzle cards

I would never go back to the technique of putting out mass amounts of sizzle cards or business card flyers today as I had done then, what I would do today is simply buy customers its good business.

What is buying customers? Simply that! I have the ability to buy customers from the company I am with and this saves me from so many Mickey Mouse MLM techniques that I never have to worry or stress out about getting my customers to make my monthly commitments or grow my business,

I will try and recollect more of my past experiences about flyers and other methods used for getting customers to promote your home or MLM business and put it into future posts. This network marketing concept does work but there is a better way of getting your customers.

Once you have joined a company you will need ways to build your business. One method I would never use is buying leads - do not buy leads to build your business! I have purchased leads in the past and have talked with many people who have purchased leads and the results are always similar, not very promising. Actually most people do not get any results from buying leads except for the fact they are out a few hundred dollars (some have lost much more!) on this insane technique to build your business.

If you insist on buying leads, I would recommend you become a telemarketer and not a home business entrepreneur, your results might be better as a telemarketer when buying leads.

What the heck !? My customers only cost me $50.00 each and the telephone never made contact with my ea r- what a deal!
